The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 2,026 out of 2,900 passed the Mechanical Engineer Licensure Examination, 21 out of 50 passed the Certified Plant Mechanic Licensure Examination and 16 passed the Technical Evaluation for the Upgrading as Professional Mechanical Engineer given by the Board of Mechanical Engineering in Manila and Cebu last September 2012.
The top 10 highest places is dominated by TUP- Manila having Kenneth Tejadilla del Rosario over-all topnotcher with 94.65% grade. It was followed by Darylle Consulta Dacillo from Bicol University-Legazpi with 94.35% and Dawil Delgado Ona from Southern Luzon State University- Lucban (SLSU) with 93.95% rating.
Meanwhile, Batangas State University was announced having 97.73 % passing rate for the top performing school followed by PUP- Sta. Mesa with 91.04 %.

The members of the Board of Mechanical Engineering who gave the licensure examinations are Engr. Leandro A. Conti, Chairman and Engr. Vicente B. Vosotros, Member.
The results were released in six (6) working days after the last day of examinations. It is noted that release is beyond the normal no. of days of announcement maybe because of hacking happening on government websites today. Let's cheer PRC web is not hacked.
Requirements for the Registration:
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 but not later than October 12, 2012.
Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag), 1 piece 1” x 1” picture (colored with white background and complete nametag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2012-2015 for MECHANICAL ENGINEER; Initial Registration Fee of P450 and Annual Registration Fee of P420 for 2012-2015 for CERTIFIED PLANT MECHANIC.
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examinations WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.
