PRC resets LET board exam in Zamboanga City, Tawi-Tawi and Jolo, Sulu from Sept. 29, 2013 to Jan. 26, 2014

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on September 23, 2013 announced the resetting of the Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT) also known as LET in Zamboanga City, Tawi-Tawi and Jolo, Sulu from September 29, 2013 to January 26, 2014.

The PRC and Professional Regulatory Board for Professional Teachers (BPT) have decided to postpone the September 29, 2013 BLEPT in Zamboanga City, Tawi-Tawi and Jolo, Sulu, after due consultations with Zamboanga City Mayor Maria Isabelle Climaco-Salazar, Tawi-Tawi Provincial Governor Nurbert Sahali and Sulu Provincial Governor Abdusakur A. Tan II.

The PRC had earlier stated that the postponement of the BLEPT was made on account of the limited access to air and sea transportations brought about by the ongoing armed hostilities in the abovementioned areas as well as considerations on the safety and security of the examinees and examinations personnel.
