NLE RESULT: November 2019 nursing board exam list of passers

MANILA, Philippines – (Updated December 5) The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Nursing (BoN) released official results of November 2019 nurse licensure examination (NLE) or nursing board exam today, December 5 or in 14 working days after the last day of exam. The complete list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing schools and performance of schools are available on this page as announced online.

As announced, 7,627 out of 13,816 (55.20%) passed the exams.

PRC administered the nursing board exam on Saturday and Sunday, November 16 and 17, in Manila, all regional offices nationwide (Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Tacloban, Tuguegarao) and Zamboanga.

The members of the Board of Nursing who gave the licensure examination are Glenda S. Arquiza, Chairman; Carmelita C. Divinagracia, Gloria B. Arcos, Carfredda P. Dumlao, Florence C. Cawaon and Cora A. Añonuevo, Members.

NOVEMBER 2019 NLE RESULTS SUMMARY
REGISTRATION AND OATHTAKING OF PASSERS

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to online.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.

Those who will register are required to bring the following:
  • Notice of admission
  • downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • notice of admission (for identification only)
  • 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
  • 2 sets of documentary stamps
  • 1 piece short brown envelope
According to Section 16, of Republic Act No. 9173, “all successful candidates in the examination shall be required to take an oath of professional before the Board or any government official authorized to administer oaths prior to entering upon the nursing practice.”

VERIFICATION OF RATINGS

NLE's verification of ratings (passers, non-passers and removal) can be done online.

Visit PRC's "Verification of Rating" service and provide the required information to verify your identity. Note that this will be available in few working days after the release of results.

NOTE: If you have 'Jr" name suffix, please add it after your FIRST NAME (i.e Eduardo Jr ) to avoid 'no matching record found' error.

COVERAGE OF EXAMINATION

The November 2019 nursing board exam has drawn basic knowledge, skills and attitudes in the major subject areas i.e. Fundamentals of Nursing including Professional Adjustments, Maternal and Child Nursing, Community Health and Communicable Disease Nursing, Nursing of Adolescents, adults and aged and Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing.

The examination tested competencies in relation to the 11 key areas of responsibility contained in the Competency Standards of Nursing Practice in the Philippines. These areas are categorized as follows:

1. Patient Care Competencies (safe and quality nursing care, communication, collaboration and teamwork, health education)

2. Empowering Competencies (legal responsibilities, ethico-moral spiritual responsibilities and personal and professional development)

3. Enabling competencies (management of resources and enviromment and records management)

4. Enhancing competencies (research and quality improvement)

NLE is compposed of five (5) parts namely:
  • Nursing Practice I (Community Health Nursing)
  • Nursing Practice II (Care of Healthy/At Risk Mother and Child)
  • Nursing Practice III (Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alternations - Part A)
  • Nursing Practice IV (Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alternations - Part B)
  • Nursing Practice V (Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alternations - Part C)
RELEASE OF NLE RESULTS

Based on PRC Resolution No. 1127 s. 2018 and Pursuant to Section 7 (d) of R.A. No. 8981, the target release of NLE results is on Thursday, December 5, 2019 or in fourteen (14) working days after the exam.

The results day falls in 18 calendar days. The computed number of working days excludes 2 Saturdays and Sundays.

PRC Board News expects release of NLE results between December 2 (Monday) and December 6 (Friday) or in 11-15 working days after the exams.

PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS

In the November 2018 NLE, PRC released results in fourteen (14) working days. A total of 4,811 out of 12,033 (39.98%) passed the series of tests. University of Santo Tomas (UST) alum Jennifer Jacob Quirante aced the board with 87.80%.

In the November 2017 exams, results were announced in eleven (11) working days after the last day of exam. PRC named 5,875 out of 12,869 who passed the NLE. UST dominated the schools with 100% passing rate. Raymund Kernell Balmaceda Manago of University of the Philippines (UP) - Manila topped the board with 89.00%.

In the November 2016 exam, NLE results were out in twelve (12) working days after the exam. PRC named 6,836 out of 14,322 who have passed the exams. University of Santo Tomas (UST) and Benguet State University - La Trinidad topped the schools with 100% passing rate. Southern Luzon State University (SLSU) - Lucban and Saint Louis University (SLU) were among the top performing schools. SLU graduate Eric Carolino Jacinto and UST's Faith Calzado Rutagines aced the board with identical average grade of 86.60%.

You will have as long as six hours to finish the RN test or five hours to finish the PN test: all out test time incorporates a short instructional exercise, two prearranged discretionary breaks and any unscheduled breaks you may take. The primary discretionary break is offered following two hours of testing.

  8. Nkpg oath taking n ung ibang new nurses pro ako hnd p. Bkt wl ako nttanggap n tx or update s prc. I completed my initial registration at PICC last January 10. We were advised about the special oath taking ceremony that we will get txt msg from prc about the schedule since we already have the add for the said ceremony. Pro until I haven't received any. I even checked out from all possible prc website and links but I sadly couldn't get any clear info. I graduated 2008 and I just took my board this November. I was really excited that I am finally a registered nurse, but without OATH TAKING plegde. Hahaha grabe...nkkaiyak at nkklungkot n ganito ang kinahinatnan ko.
