Postponed: May 2020 PRC board exams Civil Engineer, CPA, NLE, Dentist, ChemEng

MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Monday, April 13, announced the postponement of May and June 2020 scheduled board exams due to the threat of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

The announcement is pursuant to Republic Act No. 11469 (s.2020) or the Bayanihan to Heal As One Act declaring a State of National Emergency over the entire country and the declared extension of the imposed Luzon-wide Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ).

This is to further ensure the safety of the examinees and employees of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).

The conduct of the following licensure examinations is hereby POSTPONED:
  • Civil Engineer (CE) licensure exam (May 3 and 4)
  • Chemical Engineer (ChemEng) licensure exam (May 6, 7 and 8)
  • Certified Public Accountant(CPA) licensure exam (May 10, 17 and 18)
  • Dentist licensure exam (May 12, 13 and 14 - Written; May 26, 27, 28 and 29 - Practical)
  • Dental Hygienist licensure exam (May 21 - Written; May 22 - Practical)
  • Nurse licensure exam (NLE) (May 31 and June 1)
  • Criminologists Licensure Examination (June 7-9, 2020)
  • Environmental Planners Licensure Examination (June 11-12, 2020)
  • Licensure Examination for Interior Designers (June 23-25, 2020)

  1. Pano po pag na lift Yung quarantine tuloy po ba ang exam? Wala po bang recovery period ang prc. It's too risky po kc for us takers kung sakaling tuloy tapos in times of recovery we can't actually tell if it's totally safe to conduct mass gatherings. Because we can't say that in a short period of time it's finally "OK". Hope prc will consider this. Thanks and God bless. CE examinee here.

    1. Yes. I Totally agree with this. I hope there will be considerations and ma schedule siya ahead of time. Plus they have to give time pa for the registration para sa board takers. Kasi if i allow nila na premature pa ang lahat, baka mas maging malala. Anyway, baka may feedback na rin within the month of April po. Hoping. Stay safe everyone! Let's just do what we need to do.

    health and life are worthful than exam.
    It may take an exam in anytime but your health & death has no insurance.

  5. How about po Yong mga magrerenew ng license po still lockdown pa rin po ang mga boarders sa mga karatig na Lugar dito sa mindanao pahirapan po ng pagpasok sa Davao

  6. huwag muna kayo mag pa re-new or mag exam.....until in a such time the govt. announce our country is safe of corona CHINESE VIRUS.......Wala naman mawawala sa inyo..mas mahalaga ang inyong health....jerry gerona ito from Davao City,mindanao,Philippines
