COMPLETE RESULTS: February 2021 Geologist board exam list of passers

MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Geology released results of February 2021 Geology board exam on Monday, February 22 or in two (2) working days after the exam. The complete list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing schools and performance of schools are available on this page as announced online.

As announced, 64 out of 108 passed the exams.

PRC conducted the Geologist licensure exam in Manila on February 16, 17 and 18.

RELATED RESULTS
Expected takers of recent Geology licensure exam are the examinees from the cancelled November 2020 exam due to COVID-19 pandemic and restrictions. The next regular examination will be administered on November 16-18, 2021.

The members of the Board of Geology who gave the licensure examination are Benjamin S. Austria (OIC) and Elmer B. Billedo, Member.

Here's the performance of schools in the February 2021 Geologist Licensure Examination in alphabetical order as per R.A. 8981 otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7(m) "To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation":



From March 30 to March 31, 2021, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to online.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.

Those who will register are required to bring the following:
  • downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • notice of admission (for identification only)
  • 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
  • 2 sets of documentary stamps
  • 1 piece short brown envelope
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals, PRC said.

The date of the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the Geologist exam WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.

Due to pandemic, oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees will be done virtual or online. The online oathtaking application system (e-oath) can be accessed at Licensure Examination and Registration Information System (LERIS).

To verify your exam rating, visit PRC's "Verification of Rating" service and provide the required information to verify your identity. Note that this will be available in few working days after the release of results.

The February 2021 Geology board exam covered the folllowing subjects: general geology (Day 1), petrology and mineralogy (Day 2) and applied geology (Day 3).

Based on PRC Resolution No. 1283 series of 2020, the target release of results for the recent Geology board exam is on Monday, February 22 or in two (2) working days after the tests. However, results may be released ahead of the target or on later date without prior notice.

In the November 2019 Geologist board exams, PRC announced results in three (3) working days after the exam. A total of 262 out of 473 successfully hurdled the series of exams.

In the November 2018 exams, results were released after two (2) working days. PRC named 328 out of 556 who passed the exams.
