RESULT: September 2022 Social Worker board exam list of passers

MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Social Workers released result of September 2022 Social Worker board exam on September 27 or in three (3) working days after the exam. The official list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing schools and performance of schools are available on this page as announced online.

As announced, 2,955 out of 4,723 (62.57%) passed the exams.

PRC administered the Social Worker licensure exam in Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga on September 19, 20 and 21, 2022.


The members of the Board for Social Workers who gave the licensure examination are Lorna C. Gabad, Chairman; Rosetta G. Palma, Fe J. Sinsona and Ely B. Acosta, Members.

PRC said that registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to and follow instructions for initial registration.

Those who will register are required to bring the following:
  • downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • notice of admission (for identification only)
  • 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
  • 2 sets of documentary stamps
  • 1 piece short brown envelope

Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The date and venue for the mass oathtaking of the successful examinees in the said licensure examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.


The three-day exam covered the following subjects:

Day 1: human behavior and social environment and social welfare policies, programs and services;

Day 2: Social Work Practice I with Field Instruction I and Social Work Practice II with Field Instruction II;

Day 3: Social Work Practice III with Field Instruction III.


Based on PRC Resolution No. 1439 series 2021, the target release of Social Worker board exam result is on Thursday, September 29, 2022 or in six (6) working days after the exam.

However, results may be released ahead of the target or on later date, without prior notice. We advise takers to monitor announcement of results starting Tuesday, September 27.


In the February 2022 Social Workers Licensure Examination, results were released in four (4) working days. The agency named 533 out of 1,211 who passed the exams.

In the August 2021 Social Worker board exam, PRC named 612 out of 1,621 who passed the exams. Results were also out online after 4 working days.

In the February 2021 Licensure Examination for Social Workers, a total of 495 out of 1,473 passed the tests.

In the August 2019 Social Work exams, PRC announced that 2,723 out of 5,880 successfully hurdled the exams.

In the July 2018 exams, the agency named 2,508 out of 5,020 who passed the exams.

In July 2017, a total of 3,951 out of 5,997 passed the the licensure exam.

It took three (3) days for PRC to release results in 2017 to February 2021 Social Worker board exams.
