MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Fisheries released results of October 2022 Fisheries Technologist board exam on October 12 or in three (3) working days after the last day of exam. The complete list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing schools and performance of schools are available on this page as announced online.

PRC administered the Fisheries Technologist licensure exam in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legaspi, Lucena, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga on October 6 and 7, 2022.

The two-day Fisheries Technologist exam covered the following subjects: aquaculture, capture fisheries, aquatic resources and ecology and postharvest fisheries.
RELEASE OF RESULTS
According to PRC Resolution No. 1439 series of 2021, the target release of results for the recent Fisheries Technologist board exam is on Wednesday, October 12 or in three (3) working days after the exams. However, results may be released ahead of the target or on later date without prior notice.
PREVIOUS EXAMS
In the October 2021 Fisheries Technologist licensure exam, PRC released results in four (4) working days. A total of 211 out of 715 passed the exams.
In the last Fisheries Technologist board exam before the pandemic (October 2019), PRC released results in three (3) working days. A total of 731 out of 2,101 passed the exams.
In the October 2018 exams, PRC also announced results in 3 working days. Atotal of 502 out of 1,773 successfully hurdled the board exam.
In the October 2017 exams, results were out in five (5) working days. PRC named 479 out of 1,399 who passed the tests.
University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV) - Iloilo led the schools in the previous examinations: 96.33% (105 out of 109) in the October 2019 exam, 97.30% (72 out of 74) in the October 2018 exam and 98.97% (96 out of 97 ) in October 2017.
