MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released results of October 2022 Certified Public Accountant (CPA) board exam on October 26 or in 8 working days after the last day of exam.
PRC administered the CPA licensure exam (CPALE) in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga on October 14, 15, and 16, 2022.

PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS
In the May 2022 Certified Public Accountant (CPA) board exam, Jhoone Cyrelle dela Cruz Nacario from University of Santo Tomas (UST) aced the board with 88.83%. Darleen Baria Alcantara from San Beda University and Yanna Jillianne Beriarmente Cruz from Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP)-Sta. Mesa were tied on second place with 88.17%.
In the October and December 2021 CPA board exams, PRC did not release list of topnotchers.
In the last CPA board exam before the pandemic (October 2019), Justine Louie Bautista Santiago from UST aced the board with 90.33%. Marlou Borbon Alinsonorin from University of San Carlos (USC) ranked second with 89.67%.
In the May 2019 CPALE, Josemaria Alvaro Cabarrus Fontillas and Geraldine Jade Frayco Papa, both from De La Salle University (DLSU)-Manila, led the passers with 89.83%. Leinard Jan Corres Zaspa from University of Mindanao - Davao City followed with 88.50%.
