MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Architecture (BoA) released result of January 2023 Architect board exam or Architect Licensure Examination (ALE) on February 1, 2023 or in three (3) working days after the exam. The official list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing schools and performance of schools are available on this page as announced online.
As announced, 1,980 out of 3,473 (57.01%) passed the exams.
The result of examination with respect to one (1) examinee was withheld as per Board Resolution No. 01 dated January 23, 2023.
PRC administered the licensure exam in Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga on January 25 and 27.

ARCHITECT LICENSURE EXAMINATION

On March 23 - 24 and March 27 - 31, 2023, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to online.prc.gov.ph/ and follow instructions for initial registration.
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for the mass oathtaking of the successful examinees in the said licensure examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER, PRC said.
The two-day exam covered the following subjects: history and theory of architecture, principle of planning and architecture practice, utilities systems, structural conceptualization, building materials and construction, and architectural design and site planning.
Based on PRC Resolution No. 1589 s. 2022, the target release of Architect board exam result is on February 1, 2023 or in three (3) working days after the tests.
However, results are possible to be released ahead of the target or on later date, without prior notice.
In the same period last year, PRC announced results after three (3) working days. A total of 1,120 out of 1,990 successfully hurdled the series of tests.
In the June 2022 Architect board exam, PRC released results in three (3) working days. A total of 3,037 out of 4,766 passed the exams.
In the January 2022 ALE, results were made available online in four (4) working days. PRC named 1,370 out of 2,205 who passed the exams.
In the August 2021 exams, PRC announced results in five (5) working days after the exam. A total of 560 out of 849 successfully passed the exams.
In the last architect board exam before the pandemic (January 2020), the agency released results after three (3) working days. A total of 1,242 out of 2,229 (55.72%) passed the grueling exams.

- duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- notice of admission (for identification only)
- 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
