PRC and the Board of Food Technology, composed of Mr. Anthony C. Sales, Chairman; and Ms. Remedios V. Baclig, Member, administered the Food Tech board exam on August 10 and 11, 2023.

ABOUT FOOD TECH BOARD EXAM

The field of Food Technology becomes the latest addition to the list of professions currently regulated by the PRC, with the signing of the Republic Act No. 110521, also known as “Philippine Food Technology Act” in June 2018 by former President Rodrigo R. Duterte.

Under the law, the newly created Board of Food Technology is tasked to promulgate, administer, and enforce rules and regulations as well as supervise and regulate the registration, licensure and practice of food technology in the country.

UPDATES

According to PRC Resolution No. 1589 s. 2022, the target release of results for the recent Food tech board exam is on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 or after three (3) working days.

Note that results may be released ahead of the target or on later date without prior notice.
