LET RESULT: March 2024 teachers board exam list of passers

MANILA, Philippines — LET Result 2024. The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Professional Teachers (BPT) are expected to release results of March 2024 Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET) or teachers board exam between May 3-24 or in 30-45 working days after the exam. The complete list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing schools and performance of schools are available on this page as announced online.

PRC administered the regular LET on Sunday, March 17, 2024 in at least 36 testing centers nationwide.

Testing centers include Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

The agency also designated additional test centers to accommodate more examinees and avoid unnecessary distant travel: Bacolod, Bayambang, Bohol, Catanduanes, Cauayan, Digos, Dumaguete, General Santos, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Kidapawan, Laguna, Occidental Mindoro, Marinduque, Masbate, Mati, Romblon and Tagum.

The members of the Board for Professional Teachers (BPT) who gave the licensure examination are Dr. Rosita L. Navarro, Chairman; Dr. Paz I. Lucido, Vice Chairman; Dr. Paraluman R. Giron and Dr. Nora M. Uy, Members.

LET RESULTS 2024 SUMMARY

In accordance with the law, passing the licensure exam and having valid professional license from the Commission are necessary before the practice of teaching profession in the Philippines. Otherwise, those who will violate may face fine and imprisonment based on penal provisions.

To pass the LET, an examinee must obtain an average rating of not less than 75% and must have no rating lower than 50% in any of the tests.

REGISTRATION AND OATHTAKING

The schedule for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration for Elementary and Secondary level exams will be posted here once results are out online.

The requirements for the issuance of Certificate of Registration and Professional Identification Card (ID) are the following:

Notice of Admission (for identification only)
downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
two pieces passport size pictures (colored with white background and complete nametag)
two sets of documentary stamps
1 piece short brown envelope.

PRC said that successful examinees should PERSONALLY register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The dates of the oathtaking ceremonies of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.

COVERAGE OF EXAM

The program for March 2024 LET is composed of (2) parts for Elementary — General Education (40%) and Professional Education (60%) — and three (3) parts for Secondary — General Education (20%), Professional Education (40%) and Specialization (40%).

ADDITIONAL NOTE: PRC imposed limited use of calculator. Only Mathematics (under Specialization subject) would require examinees to use the calculator. The modification is pursuant to Resolution No. 25, series of 2019 issued by the Board for Professional Teachers.

RELEASE OF LET RESULTS

According to PRC Resolution No. 1728 series of 2023, the target release of March 2024 LET board exam result is on May 20, 2024 (Monday) or 41 working days after the test.

Several factors such as the total number of examinees, effect of work cancellations due to calamities and unforeseen events and system of checking the pencil-based tests may cause deviation on target release date.

With this, we advise LET takers to monitor release of results between May 3-24 or in 30-45 working days after the exam. From time-to-time, PRC Board News will update this page for the exact release date from reliable sources.

PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS

In the September 2023 Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET), PRC released results in fifty-five (55) working days after the exams. A total of 23,782 elementary teachers out of 50,593 examinees (47.01%) and 53,995 secondary teachers out of 95,969 examinees (56.26%) successfully passed the exams.

In the March 2023 Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET), PRC announced results in forty-two (42) working days. The agency named 24,819 elementary teachers out of 60,896 examinees (40.76%) and 48,005 secondary teachers out of 102,272 examinees (46.94%) who successfully passed the exams.

In the October 2022 massive Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET), PRC was able to release results after fifty-six (56) working days. A total of 49,783 elementary teachers out of 91,468 examinees (54.43%) and 71,080 secondary teachers out of 139,534 examinees (50.94%) successfully passed the exams.

In the June 2022 Licensure Exam for Teachers (fourth and final Batch of LET for the postponed board exams in 2020-2021), the PRC released results in 30 working days. The agency named 8,667 elementary teachers out of 17,149 examinees (50.54%) and 10,193 secondary teachers out of 20,191 examinees (50.48%) who passed the exams.
