MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Electronics Engineering (BEE) released results of April 2025 Electronics Technician (ECT) board exam on April 10, 2025 (Thursday), or three (3) working days after the last day of exam. The full list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing schools and performance of schools are available on this page as announced online.
As announced, 1,971 out of 2,411 (81.75%) successfully passed the licensure exams.
PRC conducted the first ECT licensure exam this year in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga on April 4, 2025.
PRC also administered the Electronics Engineer (ECE) board exam on April 2 and 3, 2025.
The members of the Board of Electronics Engineering who gave the licensure examinations are Engr. Vicente L. Cejoco, Chairman, Engr. Adonis Q. Talabo and Engr. Gerhard P. Tan, Members.

RELEASE OF RESULTS
Based on PRC Resolution No. 1927 s. 2024, the target release of ECE/ECT board exam results is on Friday, April 11, 2025.
Note that results may be released ahead of the target or on later date without prior notice.
REGISTRATION AND OATHTAKING
PRC said that registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.
Date of Registration: Starting May 22, 2025
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- notice of admission (for identification only)
- 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
- 2 sets of documentary stamps
- 1 piece short brown envelope
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date of the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER, PRC added.
COVERAGE OF EXAMS
The one-day exam for ECT covered the following: technical subjects and laws and ethics (basic mathematics, Ohm's Law, Electronics/Electrical Machine or equipment, test equipment, electronic/electrical component, maintenance and repair, Philippine Electrical Code, Philippine Electronics Code and R.A. 9292 - Electronics Engineering Law of 2004.
PREVIOUS EXAMS
In the October 2024 Electronics Technicians Licensure Examination (ECTLE), a total of 1,126 out of 1,591 successfully passed the exams.
In the April 2024 ECT board exams, a total of 1,819 out of 2,538 passed the exams.
In the October 2023 ECTLE, the agency named 1,366 out of 1,858 who passed the tests.
Results were released in three (3) working days from April 2023 to October 2024 batch of exams.
