MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 the results of April 2025 Civil Engineer Licensure Exam (CELE), including the top performing schools and performance of schools.

PRC administered the Civil Engineering board exam on April 28 and 29, 2025 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, and Ilocos Sur.

Top Schools: April 2025 Civil Engineer Board Exam Results

Here's the performance of schools in the April 2025 Civil Engineering Licensure Examination in alphabetical order as per R.A. 8981 otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7(m) "To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation":


PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS

In the November-December Civil Engineers Licensure Examination (CELE), University of the Philippines (UP)-Diliman topped the schools with 93.18% or 82 out of 88 passed. Carlos C. Hilado Memorial State University - Talisay ranked second with 91.38% or 53 out of 58 passed.

In the April 2024 Civil Engineer board exams, De La Salle University (DLSU)-Manila was the lone top performing school with 90.32% or 84 out of 93 passed the exams.

In the November 2023 Civil Engineer board exams, UP-Diliman led the schools with 98.55% or 68 out of 69 passed. UP-Los Baños came in second with 96.55% or 56 out of 58 passed.

In the April 2023 Civil Engineer board exams, DLSU-Manila topped the schools with 88.99% or 97 out of 109 passed. Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) came in second place with 81.52% or 75 out of 92 passed.

In the November 2022 Civil Engineer board exams, Carl Jervin Rivera Magtira from UPLB topped the board with 95.00%. Andrew Aren Binondo Ong from UP-Diliman ranked second with 94.00%.

REGISTRATION AND OATHTAKING

Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be issued through online registration.

Initial registrants are advised to register via the official website of PRC and follow instructions for the registration.

Date of Registration: To be announced

Those who will register are required to bring the following:

  • downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • notice of admission (for identification only)
  • 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
  • 2 sets of documentary stamps
  • 1 piece short brown envelope

Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

VERIFICATION OF RATING

All examinees, passed or failed, may verify their rating within few working days after the results were posted.

Refer to PRC Official Website to check your board exam ratings or score.

Provide the required details such as examination name, exam date, application number, first name, last name, and birthdate.

OATH-TAKING

The PRC will announce oathtaking schedules in few days after the release of exam results, and those attending the face-to-face mass oathtaking must register by noon the day before via https://online.prc.gov.ph.

Inductees must print and bring their personalized Oath Form with a QR code for attendance tagging; those unable to attend in person can opt for an online or special oathtaking.

Following the ceremony, inductees must schedule their Initial Registration online through the same portal.

COVERAGE OF EXAM

The two-day Civil Engineer board exams covered the following major subjects: mathematics, surveying and transportation engineering (35%), hydraulics and geotechnical engineering (30%) and structural engineering and construction (35%).
