MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released on Thursday, August 28, the results of August 2025 Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) and Registered Master Electricians (RME) board exam.
The August 2025 REELE and RMELE results include the list of top performing schools and performance of schools.
University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) led the schools for REELE with 100% passing rate or all of its 30 takers passed.
University of Batangas (UB) came in second with 93.33% or 28 out of 30 passed. Meanwhile, University of Santo Tomas (UST) was on third spot with 89.13% or 41 out of 46 passed.
PRC administered the licensure exam in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga on August 18 and 19, 2025 for REE and August 20, 2025 for RME.

PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS
In the April 2025 Electrical Engineer Licensure Examinations, University of Batangas topped the schools with 97.01% or 65 out of 67 passed. Meanwhile, none qualified for top performing school list in the RME board exam.
In the August 2024 Electrical Engineer Licensure Exam, University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) led the schools with 100% passing rate or all 22 of its takers passed. Meanwhile, Technological Institute of the Philippines (TIP)-Manila was the lone top performing school in the RME with 90.91% passing rate or 20 out of 22 passed.
In the April 2024 Electrical Engineer Licensure Exam, University of Batangas led the schools for REE board exam with 96.20% or 76 out of 79 passed. Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP)-Sto. Tomas came in second place with 90.38% or 94 out of 104 passed.
In the September 2023 Electrical Engineer Licensure Exam, none of the schools qualified for the top performing schools list in the REE board exam. Bohol Island State University - Tagbilaran was the only top performing school in the RME board exam with 82.35% passing rate or 56 out of 68 passed.
In the April 2023 REE board exam, Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP)-Sto. Tomas topped the schools with 100% passing rate or all 56 of its takers passed. Meanwhile, none qualified for the top performing school list in the RME board exam.
