MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) releases on Tuesday, January 27, the complete results of the January 2026 Architect Licensure Examination (ALE) given by the Board of Architecture (BoA) in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
The first ALE this year was conducted on January 20 and 22, 2026.

Here's the performance of schools in the January 2026 Architect Licensure Examination in alphabetical order as per R.A. 8981 otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7(m) "To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation":

Previous Examinations
In the June 2025 Architect Licensure Examination (ALE), Mapúa University–Manila led all schools with a 98.41% passing rate after 62 of its 63 examinees passed. The University of Santo Tomas (UST) followed closely, recording a 94.17% passing rate with 97 out of 103 examinees passing the board.
Meanwhile, in the January 2025 ALE, UST emerged as the lone top-performing school, posting an 88.10% passing rate as 74 of its 84 examinees successfully passed the examination.
For the June 2024 ALE, the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP)–Sta. Mesa topped the list with a 93.33% passing rate, with 56 out of 60 examinees passing. UST ranked second, achieving an 88.82% passing rate with 143 of 161 examinees passing.
In the January 2024 Architect Licensure Examination, UST once again stood out as the sole top-performing school, registering an 82.09% passing rate after 110 out of 134 examinees passed.

According to Resolution No. 2113 s. 2025, the January 2026 Architect Licensure Examination results will be released on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, or within three (3) working days after the tests.
