CSE RESULTS 2026 – The March 2026 Civil Service Exam results or Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT), including the complete list of SubProfessional Level passers and topnotchers, are released online on or before May 11, 2026, sixty-four (64) days after the exams.

The first CSE-PPT this year was conducted on Sunday, March 8, 2026 at testing centers nationwide. These were administered through the Civil Service Commission (CSC) regional offices in the National Capital Region (NCR), Ilocos Region, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, CALABARZON and MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, Western Visayas, Central Visayas, Eastern Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, SOCCSKSARGEN, CARAGA, Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

CSC Reminder

CSC test results, including individual ratings, are final and cannot be appealed or altered. The CSC does not conduct re-checking of exam results and does not round decimal values in ratings.

Passing Score

To pass the CS exams, aspiring civil servant should get a general rating of at least 80.00%.

Examination Coverage

The CSE-PPT is a general ability test designed to measure an individual’s preparedness to enter government service.

The CSE-PPT covered the following subjects (in English and Filipino):

Professional Level (Prof) -170 items with a time limit of 3 hours and 10 minutes

  • Numerical Ability (number sequence, basic operation, and word problem)
  • Analytical Ability (word analogy and logical reasoning)
  • Verbal Ability (vocabulary, grammar and correct usage, and correct reasoning of thought process)

SubProfessional Level (SubProf) - 165 items; time limit is 2 hours and 40 minutes

  • Numerical Ability (number sequence, basic operation, and word problem)
  • Clerical Ability (filing, spelling)
  • Verbal Ability (vocabulary, grammar and correct usage, and correct reasoning of thought process)

General information items on the following for both levels:

  • Philippine Constitution;
  • Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees (R.A. 6713);
  • Peace and Human Rights Issues and Concepts; and
  • Environment Management and Protection

OCSERGS/Verification of Rating

Examinees, both passed and failed, may get their individual test results using the Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System (OCSERGS), which can also be accessed through the CSC website by May 18, 2026 (Monday) or as indicated in the corresponding issuance/advisory.

Previous Examinations

During the most recent civil service exams (August 2025), 50,096 out of 331,675 (15.10%) examinees passed. Of the 302,028 candidates who took the Professional Level, 45,730 passed, resulting in a 15.14% passing rate. Meanwhile, 4,366 out of 29,647 examinees (14.73%) passed the Subprofessional Level.

For the March 2026 CS exam results, takers may expect of passing rate around 10-20%.

Certificate of Eligibility

Passers shall be issued a Certification of Eligibility (CoE) printed on CSC letterhead.

Those who will pass should coordinate and verify first through CSC announcement if their Certification is already available before going to the CSC Regional/Field Office. Contact numbers of the CSC office may be accessed at the CSC website.

Next Civil Service Exam

The next Civil Service Exam for Professional and Subprofessional Levels is on August 9, 2026. CSC will accept applications between May 14 to June 10, 2026.
