MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Nursing (BoN) will release results of the February 2026 Philippine Nurses Licensure Examination (PNLE), also known as Nursing Board Exam, on or before March 19, 2026, fourteen (14) working days after the last day of exams.
The Nurse Licensure Exam results include the full list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing schools, performance of schools, and schedule of registration and oath-taking.
PRC administered the Nurse Licensure Exam on February 26 and 27, 2026 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Ilocos Sur, Dumaguete (Negros Oriental), Laguna, Lipa (Batangas), Tagbilaran (Bohol), and Urdaneta (Pangasinan).

Release of PNLE Results
According to PRC Resolution No. 2113 s. 2025, the February 2026 Nurses Licensure Exam (NLE) results will be released on Thursday, March 19, 2026, or within fourteen (14) working days.
However, results may be released ahead of the target or on later date without prior notice. We advise takers to monitor announcement of results starting Thursday, March 5, 2026..
NLE Registration
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to online.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.
Date of Registration: To be announced
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- notice of admission (for identification only)
- 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
- 2 sets of documentary stamps
- 1 piece short brown envelope
According to Section 16, of Republic Act No. 9173, “all successful candidates in the examination shall be required to take an oath of professional before the Board or any government official authorized to administer oaths prior to entering upon the nursing practice.”
Verification of Ratings
All examinees, passed or failed, may verify their rating within few working days after the results were posted.

Provide the required details such as examination name, exam date, application number, first name, last name, and birthdate.
Oathtaking Details
The PRC will announce oathtaking schedules in few days after the release of exam results, and those attending the face-to-face mass oathtaking must register by noon the day before via https://online.prc.gov.ph.
Inductees must print and bring their personalized Oath Form with a QR code for attendance tagging; those unable to attend in person can opt for an online or special oathtaking.
Following the ceremony, inductees must schedule their Initial Registration online through the same portal.
Coverage of Examinations
The February 2026 Nurse Licensure Exam has drawn basic knowledge, skills and attitudes in the major subject areas i.e. Fundamentals of Nursing including Professional Adjustments, Maternal and Child Nursing, Community Health and Communicable Disease Nursing, Nursing of Adolescents, adults and aged and Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing.
The examination tested competencies in relation to the 11 key areas of responsibility contained in the Competency Standards of Nursing Practice in the Philippines. These areas are categorized as follows:
1. Patient Care Competencies (safe and quality nursing care, communication, collaboration and teamwork, health education)
2. Empowering Competencies (legal responsibilities, ethico-moral spiritual responsibilities and personal and professional
development)3. Enabling competencies (management of resources and environment and records management)
4. Enhancing competencies (research and quality improvement)
PNLE is composed of five (5) parts namely:
- Nursing Practice I (Community Health Nursing)
- Nursing Practice II (Care of Healthy/At Risk Mother and Child)
- Nursing Practice III (Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alternations - Part A)
- Nursing Practice IV (Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alternations - Part B)
- Nursing Practice V (Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alternations - Part C)
Previous Examinations
The November 2025 Philippine Nurses Licensure Examination (PNLE) results were released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) within fifteen (15) working days, with 40,692 out of 45,192 examinees successfully passing. Johannah Marie Gerardo Acevedo and George Wilson Tan Escordial of West Visayas State University – La Paz led the passers with an impressive 93.80% rating.
For the May 2025 PNLE, results were announced in just five (5) working days. A total of 6,935 out of 10,770 examinees passed the test, topped by Angelica Ferrer Dator of Southern Luzon State University – Lucban with a score of 90.00%.
In the November 2024 PNLE, the PRC released the results after fourteen (14) working days, with 29,349 of 34,534 candidates making the cut. Chariemae Nuñez Cañazares of Cebu Normal University emerged as the topnotcher with a 92.60% rating.
Meanwhile, the May 2024 PNLE results were published just four (4) working days after the examination. Out of 11,116 examinees, 7,749 passed, led by Abigail Escueta Cayanan of St. Jude College–Dasmariñas, Cavite, who recorded a 92.60% score.
