MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released on Tuesday, June 23, the complete results of May 2026 Special Professional Licensure Examination (SPLE) for Midwives. Check out here the list of passers and performance of schools.
As announced, 3 out of 3 (100%) passed the Midwives SPLE.
The members of the Board of Midwifery who gave the licensure examination are Hon. Melchor C. Dela Cruz, Jr., Chairman; Hon. Lerma M. Valenzuela, Hon. Corazon F. Landicho, Hon. Lourdes S. Mangahas and Hon. Maria Teresa C. Padilla, Members
The examination was held in Singapore and Taiwan on May 29, 30, and 31, 2026 (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).

According to PRC, the conduct of SPLE for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) shall be in accordance with PRC Resolution No. 1034 (s. 2017), Republic Act No. 8981 and Executive Order No. 835.

Performance of schools in the May 2026 Midwives Licensure Examination (SPLE) in alphabetical order as per R.A. 8981 otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7(m):
Initial Registration
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please visit the official PRC website (www.prc.gov.ph) and follow the instructions for registration.
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- Screenshot of system-generated Registration Form
- valid government-issued ID
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
Coverage of Examination
The Midwifery board exam covers the following subjects: obstetrics, fundamentals of health care, infant care and feeding (Day 1); primary health care, professional growth and development (Day 2).
