MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) releases room assignments and instructions for the August 2026 Nurses Licensure Examination (NLE).

The second regular Nursing board exam this year will be conducted in Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Cabanatuan, Cauayan, Dumaguete (Negros Oriental), Ilocos Sur, Laguna, Lipa (Batangas), Tagbilaran (Bohol), and Urdaneta (Pangasinan) on August 29 and 30, 2026.

Where to check or verify room assignments?

Check or verify your school/building assignments at the PRC official website (www.prc.gov.ph) or through the Notices/Announcements to be posted at the PRC premises two (2) to three (3) working days before the date of the examination.

What time should examinees report to the testing centers?

Report to the school/building assignment before 6:30 A.M. on the first day of the examination to verify your room and seat number. Be punctual. Late examinees will not be admitted once the examination has already started.

What to wear on examination day?

Examinees are required to wear the following attire every examination day:

Male examinees: Clinical uniform with white shoes and white socks but without nameplate, school insignia/logo and pin; or school uniform

Female examinees: Clinical uniform with white shoes and white stockings but without nameplate, school insignia/logo and pin; or school uniform

Pregnant Examinees: White clinical scrub suit

What should examinees bring in the examination?

Bring the following on examination day:

a. Notice of Admission

b. Two or more pencils (No. 2)

c. Ballpens with BLACK ink only

d. One (1) piece long brown envelope

e. One (1) piece long transparent/plastic envelope (for keeping your valuables and other allowed items)

f. Packed snacks, meals, and necessary medications, including hygiene and sanitary kits, in TRASPARENT/CLEAR containers/cellophanes, with sufficient drinking water supply for the day. The proctors/room watchers shall not allow any person, including food delivery service, to give or distribute food to any examinees while the examination is in progress. Except for restroom necessities, no examinee shall be allowed to leave the examination room during the conduct of the examination.

What are the prohibited items inside the examination room?

The following items are strictly PROHIBITED inside the examination premises/rooms.

a. Books, notes, review materials, and other printed materials containing coded data/information/formula.

b. All kinds of calculators.

c. APPLE, SAMSUNG AND OTHER SMART WATCHES, CELLULAR PHONES, BLUETOOTH, EAR PLUGS, TRANSMITTERS, PORTABLE COMPUTERS, USBs AND OTHER ELECTRONIC GADGETS/ DEVICES WHICH MAY BE USED TO STORE OR RETRIEVE DATA/INFORMATION AND/OR TO COMMUNICATE FOR WHATEVER PURPOSE.

d. Bags of any kind (ladies bag, shoulder bags, atache case, backpacks, etc.)

e. Other examination aides not stated on this program.

Note: All personal belongings of the examinees shall be surrendered to the proctor and shall be placed in a secured space within the examination room.

When are the results of Nurse board exam released?

PRC is targeting September 18, 2026 release of August 2026 Nurses Licensure Examination (NLE).

Note that released may be released ahead of the target or on later date without prior notice.
