MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) releases today the results of September 2026 Physician Qualifying Assessment for Foreign Medical Professionals (FMP) exam, including the full list of passers, immediately after the last day of exam.

A total of 17 examinees took the Qualifying Assessment for FMPs using the Computer-Based Licensure Examination modality on September 1 and 2, 2026 in Manila.

The members of the Board of Medicine who gave the qualifying assessment are Dr. Efren C. Laxamana, Chairman; Dr. Zenaida L. Antonio, Dr. Godofreda V. Dalmacion, Dr. Martha O. Nucum, Dr. Joanna V. Remo and Dr. Prudencio Z. Sta. Lucia, Jr., Members.

Release of QA-FMP Results

According to PRC Resolution No. 2113 series of 2025 for the schedule of PRC Licensure Exams for 2026, the September 2026 Qualifying Assessment for Foreign Medical Professionals will be released on Thursday, September 3, 2026, one (1) working day after the exam.

However, results may be released on later date without prior notice.

Previous Examination Results

In the September 2025 Physician Qualifying Assessment for Foreign Medical Professionals (QA-FMP), the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the results immediately after the examination. A total of 8 out of 16 candidates passed.

The same-day release also took place in the September 2024 QA-FMP, when 4 out of 9 candidates successfully passed the assessment.

In September 2023, 4 out of 8 candidates passed the QA-FMP, with the results likewise announced immediately after the examination.

Coverage of Examinations

The September 2026 examination covered the following subjects: obstetrics and gynecology; pediatrics and nutrition; pathology; pharmacology and therapeutics; surgery; ophthalmology, otolaryngology and rhinology; and medicine.

About the Exams

The FMP exam is in accordance with the Joint Administrative Order (JAO) No. 01 (s 2015) between the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Department of Health (DOH).

The assessment tool is to determine the entry-level qualifications of FMPs for medical residency or fellowship training in the Philippines.
