The Board of Civil Engineering conducts licensure examination in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo & Legazpi on November 24-25, 2012.
The results were released in three (3) working days after the last day of examination.
The members of the Board of Civil Engineering are Engr. Apollo S. Enriquez, Chairman and Engr. Praxedes R. Bernardo, Member.
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on December 3, 2012 but not later than December 5, 2012.
Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 1 piece 1” x 1” picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2012-2015. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremonies of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER, PRC said.

If you'll notice, the schedule of board exam this November is within the declared "Civil Engineering Month" and coincided with the 38th National Convention on November 22-24 at the Cebu International Convention Center in Mandaue City, Cebu. President Aquino last October made the announcement via the goverment official website.
Last May 2012, PRC named 1,130 out of 3,317 (34.07%) new Civil Engineers. Xavier Sy Lim from De La Salle university- Manila garnered the highest place with 95.20% rating. Top 10 was dominated by DLSU-Manila, MIT, PUP and UP.
Total number of registered Civil engineers is now more than 74,200. Those are also members of Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers, Inc. (PICE) with 97 chapters throughout the country.
