PRC released December 2012 Real Estate Consultant Board Exam Results

PRC releases examination results for December 2012 Real Estate Consultants (REC) Board examinations. The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 10 out of 17 passed the Real Estate Consultant Licensure Examination given by the Board of Real Estate Service in Manila last December 2012.

The members of the Board of Real Estate Service are Dr. Eduardo G. Ong, Chairman; Bansan C. Choa, Ramon C.F. Cuervo III, Florentino C. Diño II and Rafael M. Fajardo, Members.


The results were released in five (5) working days after the last day of examination.
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at the Registration Division Unit C, Ground Floor PRC Main Building. Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag), 1 piece 1” x 1” picture (colored with white background and complete nametag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2013-2016. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER, PRC said.

Last November 2011 Real Estate Consultant licensure examination, PRC named 26 out of 30 new certified consultants. Results released in about 3 days.

We at PRC Board News wants to analyze the job or function of real estate consultant and how does it differ from Real Estate Sales. According to our research, the Real Estate Consultant is compensated for their expertise, time and/or the task. If they’re paid contingent on a guaranteed outcome (a traditional commission), it is understood by the consumer that will be paying a premium to have this guarantee. The Real Estate Salesperson is only paid for a guaranteed outcome (one they can influence but not control).
