Last December 2011, the following schools were hailed as good nursing schools in the Philippines: Chinese General Hospital College of Nursing and Liberal Arts, Cebu Normal University, University of the Philippines-Manila, West Visayas State University-La Paz,University of Sto. Tomas, De La Salle University- Health Science Institute, Trinity QC, Saint Louis University, Saint Paul University-Iloilo, Benguet State University-La Trinidad, Velez College and Saint Paul University-Dumaguete.
For December 2010 results, the following schools dominated or topped the list of best nursing school in the Philippines for producing high percentage of passing: Saint Paul University-Iloilo, Xavier University, Saint Paul University - Tuguegarao, New Era Universty, PLM,USLT, Silliman University, Southern Luzon State University-Lucban (SLSU), RTR Medical Foundation and San Pedro College-Davao City.
