Civil Engineer licensure examination is set on May 5 (Sun) and 6 (Mon), 2013 at the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi and Lucena.
The members of the Board of Civil Engineering are Engr. Apollo S. Enriquez, Chairman and Engr. Praxedes R. Bernardo, Member.
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on May 20, 2013 but not later than May 22, 2013.
Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 1 piece passport size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2013-2016.
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremonies of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER, PRC said.
Civil Engineering exam covers Mathematics, surveying and transportation engineering, hydraulics and geotechnical engineering and structural engineering and construction.
On the same period last year (May 2012), PRC named 1,195 out of 3,117 Civil Engineers who hurdled the exam. Results released in 3 working days. None of the schools qualified for the top performing school rank. However, a DLSU-Manila graduate Xavier Sy Lim garnered the highest place with 95.20 percent average.
Last November 2012, 2,380 out of 5,747 passed the Civil Engineer Licensure Examination. Results also released in 3 working days. UP-Diliman and UST were named top performing schools. A TUP-Manila graduate Romar Buhat Mesa topped the board with 96.65% grade.
