DLSU-Manila is May 2013 CPA Licensure Exam Top Performing School
The four-day exam was administred on May 19, 20 (Sun and Mon) , 26 and 27 (Sun and Mon) at the following testing centers: Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo and Legazpi.
The members of the Board of Accountancy are Atty. Eugene T. Mateo, Chairman; Dr. Rufo R. Mendoza, Vice Chairman; Luis A. Cañete and Jose S. Tayag, Jr., Members.
Originally scheduled on May 12, 13 and 19, 20, 2013 but has been re-set due to national elections.
Examination for May 2013 CPA covers Theory of Accounts and Auditing, Management Services, Practical Accounting, Auditing Problems, Practical Accounting II, Business Law and Taxation.
Note that there were changes in the schedules of the subjects applicable in the licensure examination for Certified Public Accountants for May 2013 ONLY as per Memorandum Order No.2013-01.
On May 2012, results out in just 1 day with 1,995 out of 5,315 passed the CPA board. Same with October 2012 exams, results released immediately in one working day. PRC listed 4,772 out of 9,987 new CPAs.
Which school will be on top for May 2013 CPA Board Exam?
De La Salle University -Manila is the only top performing school for May 2013 CPA Board Exam. DLSU passing rate is 96.36%.
Last May 2012, University of San Carlos (USC) is the only top performing school for having 83.33% passing rate. A San Beda College garnered the highest place, 94.86 rating.
On October 2012, University of the Philippines-Diliman (UPD), UST, Bicol University and USLT are among the top peforming schools. UST graduates topped the board with 94.11 average grade.
