PRC announced that 1,643 out of 3,063 Registered Electrical Engineers and 773 out of 2,126 Registered Master Electricians successfully passed the Electrical Engineer Licensure Examinations.

September 2013 Electrical Engineering and RME licensure exam was administered in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena & Zamboanga.
The members of the Board of Electrical Engineering are Engr. Fortunato C. Leynes, Chairman; Engr. Jaime V. Mendoza and Engr. Francis V. Mapile, Members.
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be on September 23, 24 and 25, 2013. Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 1 piece passport size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2013-2016 for REGISTERED ELECTRICAL ENGINEER; Initial Registration Fee of P450 and Annual Registration Fee of P420 for 2013-2016 for REGISTERED MASTER ELECTRICIAN.
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examinations WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER, PRC said.
REE board examination covers the following subjects: Mathematics and Engineering Sciences and Allied Subjects (September 7) and Electrical Engineering Professional Subjects (September 8).
RME licensure exam includes the following subjects: Technical subjects such as baic electricity, generators, transformers, switches and others and Philippine Electrical Code which includes installation requirements, wiring subjects, electrical safety and others.
In September 2012 board exams, PRC released results in six (3) working days after the last day of examinations. 1,569 out of 2,947 Registered Electrical Engineers and 664 out of 1,876 Registered Master Electricians successfully passed the Electrical Engineer Licensure Examinations .University of Santo Tomas (UST) was named the only top performing for REE board for having 87.50 passing percentage. Meanwhile, Camarines Norte State College-Daet topped RME licensure exam with 95.24% passing rate.
