The 2-day examination was administered by the Board of Civil Engineering headed by Engr. Apollo S. Enriquez, Chairman and Engr. Praxedes R. Bernardo, Member.
Test was simultaneously conducted in seven (7) testing centers nationwide: Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo and Legazpi.

The exam covers various and major programs for Civil Engineering licensure exam: mathematics, surveying and transportation engineering and hydraulics and geotechnical engineering (November 23, 2013) and structural engineering and construction (November 24, 2013).
In the same period last year (November 2012 CE board exam), results were available online in just 3 working days. 2,380 out of 5,747 passed the Civil Engineer Licensure Examination.
In May 2013, PRC also released results in 3 working days. 1,542 out of 3,601 new Civil Engineers were named.
University of the Philippines - Diliman (UPD) topped November 2012 Civil Engineer board exam with 97.65% passing rate. Meanwhile, De La Salle University - Manila (DLSU-M) was named rank 1 top performing school for May 2013 board exam after obtaining 98.46% passing percentage.
The successful examinees who garnered the highest places for November 2012 were graduates of Technological University of the Philippines - Manila (TUP-M), Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM), Malayan Colleges Laguna, Saint Louis University (SLU), Catanduanes State Colleges-Virac, Mindanao State University-Marawi City, Cebu Technological University-Main and UPD.
