The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Tuesday that 793 out of 1,310 passed the Mechanical Engineer board exam and 22 out of 42 passed the Certified Plant Mechanic board exam given by the Board of Mechanical Engineering in Manila and Cebu this March 2014.

Batangas State University- Batangas City (BatSU) was named the top performing school in the March 2014 Mechanical Engineer board exam as per Commission Resolution No. 2010-547 series of 2010. BatSu got 98.85% passing percentage or 86 out of 87 passed the licensure exam.
De La Salle University (DLSU) -Manila ranked second with 92.16 passing rate or 47 out of 51 passed the exam.
