October 2018 Electronics Engineering ECE, ECT board exam result: performance of schools

MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) recognized the top performing schools in the Electronics Engineer (ECE) and Electronics Technician (ECT) board exam. View as well on this page the performance of schools as released on Friday, October 26 or in four (4) working days after the last day of exam.

University of the Philippines (UP) - Diliman, having 98% passing rate (49 out of 50 examinees passed), was the lone top performing school in the ECE board exam according to PRC Resolution No. 2010-547.

Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) - Sta. Mesa led the schools in the ECT board exam, 98.30% or 173 out of 176 passed the exam. University of Santo Tomas (UST) ranked second with 97.70% or 85 out of 87 successfully hurdled the tests.

PRC administered the second Electronics Engineering licensure exam this year in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro,Cebu, Davao, Lucena and Tuguegarao on October 20 and 21 (ECE) and October 22 (ECT).

Meanwhile, here's the performance of schools in the October 2018 Electronics Engineering Licensure Examination in alphabetical order as per R.A. 8981 otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7(m) "To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation."


RELEASE OF RESULTS

Based on PRC Resolution No. 2017-1068, the target release of results for the recent ECE and ECT board exam is on Friday, October 26 or in four (4) working days after the last day of exam. However, results might be released ahead or on later date without prior notice.

PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS

In the October 2017 board exam, University of the Philippines (UP) - Diliman topped the schools for ECE with 98.33% or 59 out of 60 takers passed. Meanwhile, University of Santo Tomas (UST) and Technological University of the Philippines shared the highest place for ECT with 100% passing rate.

In the October 2016 exams, UPD was the lone top performing school in ECE having 100% passing rate or all 53 hopefuls passed. UST garnered the top spot for ECT with 98.85%.
