RESULT: September 2019 Qualifying Assessment for Foreign Medical Professionals (FMP) passers

MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Medicine released results of Qualifying Assessment for Foreign Medical Professionals (FMP) in few working days after the exam. The complete list of passers is available here as announced online.

As announced, 6 out of 14  passed the exams.

PRC administered the first FMP board exam on September 6 and 13 in Manila, simultaneously with the regular schedule of Physician board exam (PLE).

The Board of Medicine who gave the licensure examination is composed of Dr. Eleanor B. Almoro, Chairman; Dr. Edgardo T. Fernando, Dr. Clarita C. Maaño, Dr. Eleanor J. Galvez and Dr. Ma. Graciela Garayblas-Gonzaga, Members.

The inclusion of FMP exam in the 2019 master schedule of licensure examination is in accordance with the Joint Administrative Order (JAO) No. 01 (s 2015) between the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Department of Health (DOH).

The objective is to determine the entry-level qualifications of FMPs for medical residency or fellowship training in the Philippines.

The first FMP exam covered the following subjects: obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics and nutrition, pathology, pharmacology and therapeutics, surgery and opthalmology, otolaryngology and rhinology and medicine.
