MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released results of May 2022 Certified Public Accountant (CPA) board exam on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 or in six (6) working days after the last day of exam.
Jhoone Cyrelle Dela Cruz Nacario of the University of Santo Tomas aced the board with a rating of 88.83%.
Darleen May Baria Alcantara of San Beda University and Yanna Jillianne Beriarmente Cruz of Polytechnic University of the Philippines tied on second spot with a rating of 88.17 percent.
Charlene Mae Noche Perez, also from UST, came in third with 88 percent.
PRC administered the CPA licensure exam in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga on May 22, 23, and 24, 2022.

In the last CPA board exam before the pandemic (October 2019), Justine Louie Bautista Santiago from University of Santo Tomas (UST) aced the board with 90.33%. Marlou Borbon Alinsonorin from University of San Carlos (USC) ranked second with 89.67%.
In the May 2019 CPALE, Josemaria Alvaro Cabarrus Fontillas and Geraldine Jade Frayco Papa, both from De La Salle University (DLSU)-Manila, led the passers with 89.83%. Leinard Jan Corres Zaspa from University of Mindanao - Davao City followed with 88.50%.
