MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Accountancy released results of May 2022 Certified Public Accountant licensure exam (CPALE) on June 1, 2022 or in six (6) working days after the last day of exam. The complete list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing schools and performance of schools are available on this page as announced online.
As announced, 990 out of 4,442 (22.29%) passed the exams.

PRC administered the licensure exam in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga on May 22, 23, and 24, 2022.

On July 5 - 8 and July 11, 2022, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to online.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.

The date of the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER, PRC added.

Visit PRC's "Verification of Rating" service on official website and provide the required information to verify your identity. Note that this will be available in few working days after the release of results.
COVERAGE
The 3-day examination covered the following subjects: auditing and management advisory services, taxation and regulatory framework for business transactions, financial accounting and reporting and advanced financial accounting and reporting.
NOTE: The Board of Accountancy has decided that the CPA Examinations shall cover the new and old provisions of certain laws and standards. These include the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion or TRAIN Law, PFRS 9 on" "Financial instruments," and PFRS 15 on "Revenue from Contracts with Customers."
RELEASE OF RESULTS
Based on PRC Resolution No. 1439 s. 2021, the target release of May 2022 CPA board exam results is on Friday, June 10, 2022 or in thirteen (13) days after the last day of exam.
However, results may be released ahead of the target or on later date without prior notice. We advise takers to monitor results starting May 31, 2022 (Tuesday) or in five working days.
PREVIOUS EXAMS
In the December 2021 Certified Public Accountant (CPA) board exam, PRC announced results after seven (7) working days. The agency named 318 out of 1,454 (21.87%) who passed the exams.
In the October 2021 CPA board exams, PRC announced results in five (5) working days. Only 361 out of 2,367 (15.25%) passed the exams.
In the October 2019 exams, PRC announced results in six (6) working days. The agency named 2,075 out of 14,492 (only 14.32%) who passed the grueling exams.
In the May 2019 CPALE, results were also released in 5 working days. PRC named 1,699 out of 10,319 who successfully hurdled the series of tests.

- notice of admission (for identification only)
