MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Librarians are expected to release results of September 2025 Librarian board exam on Friday, September 5, 2025, immediately after the last day of exam. The complete list of passers, topnotchers (top 10), top performing schools and performance of schools, are available here as announced online.
PRC administered the Computer-based Librarian licensure exam (LLE) on September 4 and 5, 2025 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Rosales, Tacloban, and Tuguegarao.

Release of Results
According to PRC Resolution No. 1927 s. 2024, the target release date for the Librarian Board Exam results is Monday, September 8—just one (1) working day after the examination.
However, the release of results may come earlier or later than the target date without prior notice from the PRC.
For computer-based licensure exams, results are usually released immediately after the test. With this in mind, examinees are advised to closely monitor official announcements as early as September 5, the last day of the exam.
Registration and Oathtaking
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.

Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- notice of admission (for identification only)
- 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
- 2 sets of documentary stamps
- 1 piece short brown envelope
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremonies of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.
Coverage of Examinations
The two-day examinations covered the following subjects: library organization and management, reference, bibliography, and user services, indexing and abstracting, cataloging and classification, selection and acquisition and information technology.
Previous Exams
In the September 2024 Librarians Computer-Based Licensure Exam, the PRC released the results immediately after the test, with 376 out of 771 examinees passing.
For the September 2023 Librarian Board Exam, results were released three (3) working days after the last day of testing. Out of 886 examinees, 555 successfully passed.
In the September 2022 exams, the PRC likewise announced results within three (3) working days, with 250 out of 634 examinees making the cut.
