MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced results of the September 2025 Librarian Computer-based Licensure Exam (LLE) on Monday, September 8, 2025, one (1) working day after the last day of exams. View here the list of top-performing schools and performance of all schools.

Performance of Schools: September 2025 Librarian board exam results

Philippine Normal University-Manila, La Salle University, and the University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman emerged as the top-performing schools, each posting a 100% passing rate with 28, 14, and 13 successful examinees, respectively.

The University of Southeastern Philippines-Davao City followed in second place with a 92.50% passing rate, as 37 out of 40 examinees passed.

The PRC conducted the Librarian board exam on September 4 and 5, 2025 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Rosales, Tacloban, and Tuguegarao.

Previous Examinations

In the September 2024 Librarian Licensure Exam, West Visayas State University–La Paz earned the distinction of top-performing school with a perfect 100% passing rate, as all 14 examinees passed. Philippine Normal University (PNU)–Manila followed with an impressive 96.55%.

For the September 2023 exams, the University of the Philippines (UP)–Diliman also achieved a flawless 100% passing rate, with all 21 examinees making the cut. PNU–Manila ranked second with 96.88%, as 31 out of 32 examinees passed.

In September 2022, UP–Diliman once again dominated with a 100% passing rate from its 12 examinees. Saint Paul University–Surigao came in second with 83.33%, as 5 out of 6 examinees successfully passed.

During the September 2021 exams, four institutions shared the spotlight as top-performing schools—UP–Diliman, Saint Paul University–Surigao, Adventist University of the Philippines, and the University of Mindanao–Davao City—each posting a perfect 100% passing rate.
