MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) will release the full results of October 2025 Mining Engineer Licensure Exam (MELE), including the list of passers, topnotchers (top 10), top performing school and performance of schools, on or before October 27, 2025, within two (2) working days after the exam.
PRC administered the Mining Engineer board exam on October 21, 22, and 23, 2025 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Lucena, Legazpi, and Rosales.
The members of the Board of Mining Engineering who gave the licensure examination are Hon. Ramon N. Santos, Chairman; Hon. Rufino B. Bomasang and Hon. Augusto C. Villaluna, Members.

Release of Results
Based on PRC Resolution No. 1927 series of 2024, the October 2025 Mining Engineer board exam results will be released on Monday, October 27, 2025, two (2) working days after the last day of exam.
Note that results may be released ahead of the target or on later date without prior notice.
Registration and Oathtaking
Note that registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.

Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- notice of admission (for identification only)
- 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
- 2 sets of documentary stamps
- 1 piece short brown envelope
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The oathtaking ceremony of the successful examinees in the said examination as well as the previous ones who have not taken their Oath of Professional will be announced later.
Verification of Rating
All examinees of the recent Mining Engineer board exam may verify their ratings online through PRC's verification of rating page. Just enter the required information in the appropriate fields to verify your identity.
Coverage of Examinations
The three-day examination covered mining engineering I, II and III subjects.
Mining Engineering I (35%) includes mineral prospecting and exploration, sampling and ore reserve estimation, mining methods, mine planning, designing and developments, ventilation and mine safety, rock mechanics in mining engineering and applied mathematics in mine mathematics.
Mining Engineering II (35%) covers mineral economics, mine evaluation and feasibility studies, applied mathematics in mining engineering, mine management and computer application, mine and mineral land surveying and mining law and ethics.
Mining Engineering III (30%) includes general geology, mineralogy and petrology, economics geology, structural geology, principles of metallurgy, mineral processsing and assaying and applied mathematics in geology and mineral engineering and ecology.
Previous Examinations
In the October and November 2024 Mining Engineers Licensure Examination, the PRC released the results after five (5) working days. A total of 259 out of 365 examinees successfully passed the tests.
In the August 2023 Mining Engineer board exam, PRC released results in just one (1) working day. A total of 242 out of 351 passed the exams.
In the August-September 2022 Mining Engineer board exam, PRC announced results in three (3) working days. A total of 253 out of 389 passed the exams.
In the August 2021 Mining Engineer board exam, PRC also released results in 3 days. PRC named 206 out of 274 who passed the series of exams.
