MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces today, October 24, the results of Electronics Technician (ECT) board exam, including the list of top performing schools and performance of schools.
PRC administered the second ECT licensure exam this year in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga on October 20, 2025.
PRC also conducted the Electronics Engineer (ECE) board exam on October 18 and 19, 2025.

Release of Results
Based on PRC Resolution No. 1927 s. 2024, the October 2025 ECE/ECT board exam results will be released on Friday, October 24, 2025.
Note that results may be released ahead of the target or on later date without prior notice.
Previous Examinations
In the April 2025 Electronics Technician Licensure Examination (ECT), the Technological University of the Philippines (TUP) – Visayas emerged as the top-performing school with an impressive 96.30% passing rate, as 78 out of 81 examinees passed (for schools with 80 or more takers). The Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) – Sta. Mesa followed closely with a 90.91% passing rate, or 140 passers out of 154 examinees.
During the October 2024 Electronics Technician Licensure Examination, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) led all schools with a perfect 100% passing rate, as all 32 of its examinees successfully passed. The University of Santo Tomas (UST) secured second place with a 91.86% passing rate, or 79 passers out of 86 examinees.
Meanwhile, in the April 2024 Electronics Technician board exam, the Technological University of the Philippines (TUP) – Visayas once again topped the list of schools with a 93.06% passing rate, equivalent to 67 passers out of 72 examinees. The Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) – Sta. Mesa ranked second with 91.30%, or 126 out of 138 examinees passing the board.
In the October 2023 ECTLE, the FEU Institute of Technology dominated with a 94.34% passing rate, as 50 out of 53 examinees passed. Saint Louis University (SLU) followed closely with 94.12%, or 48 passers out of 51 examinees.
