MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) will announce today the top performing schools and complete performance of schools in the October 2025 Electronics Engineer (ECE) board exam.
PRC administered the second Electronics Engineering licensure exam this year in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga on October 18 and 19, 2025.
The agency also conducted Electronics Technicians (ECT) board exam on October 20.

Release of Results
Based on PRC Resolution No. 1927 s. 2024, the target release of ECE board exam results is on Friday, October 24, 2025.
Note that results may be released ahead of the target or on later date without prior notice.
Previous Examinations
In the April 2025 Electronics Engineer Licensure Examination (ECELE), the University of the Philippines (UP) – Diliman emerged as the top-performing school with an impressive 94.00% passing rate, as 47 out of 50 examinees successfully passed. The Technological University of the Philippines (TUP) – Visayas followed in second place with an 88.16% passing rate, or 67 out of 76 examinees passing the board.
During the October 2024 ECELE, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) topped the list of schools with an 88.57% passing rate, equivalent to 31 passers out of 35 examinees. The University of the Philippines (UP) – Diliman ranked second with an 84.38% passing rate, or 27 out of 32 passers.
In the April 2024, October 2023, April 2023, April 2022, and October 2022 Electronics Engineer Licensure Examinations, UP Diliman consistently dominated as the lone top-performing school, posting passing rates of 90.91% (50 out of 55), 96.67% (29 out of 30), 87.50% (35 out of 40), 85.71% (36 out of 42), and 88.64% (39 out of 44), respectively.
For the October 2021 ECE board exam, no school qualified for inclusion in the top-performing list.
Meanwhile, in the October 2019 ECE board exam, UP Diliman once again led all schools with a 97.30% passing rate, or 72 passers out of 74 examinees. Holy Angel University (HAU) followed with an 80.00% passing rate, or 56 out of 70 examinees passing the exam.
