MANILA, Philippines – The October 2025 Optometrist Licensure Exam (OLE) results, including the list of passers, are released on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, one (1) working day after the last day of examinations.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) administered the Optometrist Written licensure exam on October 1, 2, and 3 and October 6-10 and 13, 2025 for the Practical exam in Manila.

Release of Results
According to PRC Resolution No. 1927 series of 2024, the October 2025 Optometrists Licensure Exam results will be released on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.
Note that results may be released ahead or on later date without prior notice. We advise takers to closely monitor this page for the updates.
Registration and Oathtaking
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.
Date of Registration: TBA
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- notice of admission (for identification only)
- 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
- 2 sets of documentary stamps
- 1 piece short brown envelope
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.
Verification of Ratings
Optometrist board exam's verification of ratings (passers, non-passers and removal) can be done online.
Visit PRC's "Verification of Rating" service and enter the required information to verify your identity. Note that this will be available in few working days after the release of results.
Coverage of Examinations
The theoretical examinations covered the following:
- Day 1: Ocular pharmacology, ocular and visual biology, clinical optometry, and specialty areas of optometry
- Day 2: Physiological optics, binocular vision and perception, primary care, and refraction
- Day 3: Ocular diseases, ocular emergencies, ethics, jurisprudence, practice management, theoretical and practical optics, and ophthalmic dispensing, including contact lenses
Previous Examinations
In the October 2024 Optometrists Licensure Examination (OLE), the PRC released the results after three (3) working days. A total of 297 out of 327 examinees passed. Manila Central University – Caloocan City emerged as the top-performing school with a 98.15% passing rate (53 out of 54). Danielle Ramboyong King from Centro Escolar University (CEU) – Manila topped the exams with a rating of 88.87%.
During the October 2023 Optometrist board exams, PRC released the results in four (4) working days. Out of 226 examinees, 153 successfully passed. Southwestern University (SWU) was the lone top-performing school, posting an 88.89% passing rate (32 out of 36). Solana Libertad Co Cua from Foreign University ranked first with a score of 90.51%.
In the October 2022 Optometrist board exams, results were also released after four (4) working days. A total of 179 out of 285 examinees passed. SWU again earned the distinction of being the top-performing school with an 85.53% passing rate (65 out of 76). Giuseppe Roy Cabatic Campilan from SWU topped the exams with 89.83%.
Meanwhile, in the December 2021 Optometrist board exams, results were released after thirty-five (35) working days. PRC announced that 226 out of 254 examinees passed. Centro Escolar University (CEU) – Manila led the schools with a 93.60% passing rate (117 out of 125). Kim Elijah Eduba Torio from CEU – Manila garnered the highest score with 88.72%.
