MANILA, Philippines – The October 2025 Physician Licensure Examination (PLE) results, including the list of top performing schools and performance of schools, are released on Thursday, October 16, 2025, four (4) working days after the exam.
PRC administered the second regular Physician board exam this year on October 4, 5, 11, and 12, 2025 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.

The top ten (10) performing schools in the October 2025 Physician Licensure Examination as per Commission Resolution No. 1814 series of 2024:
Here's the performance of schools in the October 2025 Physician Licensure Examination in alphabetical order as per R.A. 8981 otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7(m) "To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation."
Previous Top Performing Schools
In the March 2025 Physician Licensure Examination (PLE), Xavier University stood out as the lone top-performing school, achieving a passing rate of 80.70% or 46 out of 57 examinees.
For the October 2024 PLE, the University of the Philippines (UP) - Manila led the roster of top-performing schools with an impressive 96.97% passing rate, or 160 out of 165 examinees. Cebu Institute of Medicine (CIM) followed closely with 95.31% or 122 out of 128 passed.
Meanwhile, in the April 2024 PLE, the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center (UERMMMC) topped the list with an 89.23% passing rate, or 58 out of 65 examinees. The University of Santo Tomas (UST) placed second with 84.85% or 56 out of 66 passed.
In the October 2023 PLE, UP-Manila once again led with a remarkable 97.62% passing rate, or 164 out of 168 examinees, followed by Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) with 97.32% or 109 out of 112 passed.
Earlier, in the March 2023 PLE, UST was recognized as the lone top-performing school after recording an 83.61% passing rate, or 51 out of 61 examinees.
