MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Sanitary Engineering released results of January 2026 Sanitary Engineer Licensure Examination (SELE) on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, immediately after the last day of exams.
As announced, 174 out of 270 (64.44%) passed the January 2026 SELE.
The 2026 SELE results include the complete list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top-performing schools, and performance of schools.
PRC conducted the Sanitary Engineer Computer-based Licensure Exam (CBLE) on January 26, 27, and 28, 2026 in Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Rosales, Pampanga, and Tuguegarao.

Registration of Passers
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to http://www.prc.gov.ph/ and follow instructions for initial registration.
Date of Registration: Starting February 24, 2026
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- notice of admission (for identification only)
- 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
- 2 sets of documentary stamps
- 1 piece short brown envelope
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
Verification of Ratings
A few working days after the release of results, Sanitary Engineer board exam takers may verify their ratings online through PRC’s Verification of Rating page. Simply provide the required information in the designated fields to confirm your identity.
Coverage of Exams
The three-day SELE covered the following subjects:
- Day 1: Environmental Engineering and Public Health Engineering
- Day 2: Sanitary Science as Applied to Buildings and Civil Engineering
- Day 3: Wastewater Engineering and Water Supply Engineering
Release of SELE Results
According to a Facebook post by the PRC, the results of the January 2026 Sanitary Engineer Licensure Examination (SELE) will be released today, January 28.
In its announcement, PRC stated: “Future Registered Sanitary Engineers, be ready as the results of the January 2026 Sanitary Engineers Computer-Based Licensure Examination will be out soon! Congratulations to all future RSEs!”
The release comes earlier than the initially declared target date of Friday, January 30, 2026, as stated under PRC Resolution No. 2113 s. 2025.
Previous Examinations
In the August 2025 Sanitary Engineers Computer-Based Licensure Examination, 65 out of 125 examinees passed. Mapúa University–Manila emerged as the top-performing school, posting a 94.74% passing rate with 18 of its 19 examinees successfully clearing the exam.
During the February 2025 SELE, 138 out of 195 examinees passed. Western Mindanao State University–Zamboanga City led all schools with a 93.75% passing rate, as 15 of its 16 examinees passed.
Meanwhile, in the August 2024 SELE, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the results immediately after the final day of examinations. Of the 156 examinees, 105 passed, with the University of Southeastern Philippines–Davao City topping the list of schools at a 90.91% passing rate (10 out of 11).
