MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) releases results of the February 2026 Philippine Nurses Licensure Exam (PNLE), including the list of top performing schools and performance of schools, on Friday, March 6, 2026, within five (5) working days after the last day of exam.

PRC administered the PNLE on February 26 and 27, 2026 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Ilocos Sur, Dumaguete (Negros Oriental), Laguna, Lipa (Batangas), Tagbilaran (Bohol), and Urdaneta (Pangasinan).

Here's the performance of schools in the February 2026 Philippine Nurses Licensure Examination in alphabetical order as per R.A. 8981 otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7(m) "To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation":


Previous Examinations

In the November 2025 Philippine Nurses Licensure Examination (PNLE), Xavier University–Ateneo de Cagayan, Saint Louis University, Cebu Doctors University, and 18 other institutions topped the list of schools with 100 or more examinees after posting a perfect 100% passing rate. Trinity University of Asia followed in second place with a 99.73% passing rate.

In the May 2025 PNLE, the University of Pangasinan emerged as the top-performing school among institutions with 100 or more examinees, achieving an impressive 99.16% passing rate. Meanwhile, Southern Luzon State University (SLSU)–Lucban, Eastern Samar State University–Borongan, and Universidad de Zamboanga–Pagadian shared the top spot in the 50–99 examinees category, each recording a perfect 100% passing rate.

During the November 2024 PNLE, eleven institutions shared the top spot among schools with 100 or more examinees, all registering a 100% passing rate. These schools include the University of Santo Tomas (UST), Xavier University, Cebu Doctors University, Velez College, Angeles University Foundation, Bicol University–Legazpi, Saint Paul University–Iloilo, West Visayas State University–La Paz, and Central Mindanao University. Far Eastern University–Manila followed closely with a 99.82% passing rate.

In the May 2024 PNLE, Cavite State University (CavSU), Southern Luzon State University–Lucban, and the University of Mindanao–Davao City shared the top position after each posting a perfect 100% passing rate. Gordon College ranked second with a 98.99% passing rate.

Verification of Ratings

All examinees, passed or failed, may verify their rating within few working days after the results were posted.

Visit the PRC Official site and proceed to the Verification Page.

Provide the required details such as examination name, exam date, application number, first name, last name, and birthdate.

Oathtaking Details

The PRC will announce oathtaking schedules in few days after the release of exam results, and those attending the face-to-face mass oathtaking must register by noon the day before via https://online.prc.gov.ph.

Inductees must print and bring their personalized Oath Form with a QR code for attendance tagging; those unable to attend in person can opt for an online or special oathtaking.

Following the ceremony, inductees must schedule their Initial Registration online through the same portal.

Coverage of Examinations

The February 2026 Nurse Licensure Exam has drawn basic knowledge, skills and attitudes in the major subject areas i.e. Fundamentals of Nursing including Professional Adjustments, Maternal and Child Nursing, Community Health and Communicable Disease Nursing, Nursing of Adolescents, adults and aged and Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing.

The examination tested competencies in relation to the 11 key areas of responsibility contained in the Competency Standards of Nursing Practice in the Philippines. These areas are categorized as follows:

1. Patient Care Competencies (safe and quality nursing care, communication, collaboration and teamwork, health education)

2. Empowering Competencies (legal responsibilities, ethico-moral spiritual responsibilities and personal and professional

development)

3. Enabling competencies (management of resources and enviromment and records management)

4. Enhancing competencies (research and quality improvement)

PNLE is compposed of five (5) parts namely:

  • Nursing Practice I (Community Health Nursing)
  • Nursing Practice II (Care of Healthy/At Risk Mother and Child)
  • Nursing Practice III (Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alternations - Part A)
  • Nursing Practice IV (Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alternations - Part B)
  • Nursing Practice V (Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alternations - Part C)
