MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) releases on Wednesday, July 22, the results of July 2026 Interior Designer Licensure Exam (IDLE / LEID) given in the cities of Manila, Cebu, Davao, and Rosales.
Three schools achieved a perfect 100% passing rate in the July 2026 LEID: the University of San Carlos (25 of 25 passers), the University of the Philippines Diliman (19 of 19), and the University of the East–Caloocan (13 of 13).
The University of Santo Tomas (UST) ranked next with a 97.59% passing rate after 81 of its 83 examinees passed, while the Philippine School of Interior Design (PSID) posted a 96.97% passing rate with 32 of 33 successful examinees.
Completing the list of top-performing schools was Batangas State University–Alangilan, which recorded a 90.91% passing rate after 30 of its 33 examinees successfully passed the licensure examination.
PRC administered the IDLE on July 1, 2, and 3, 2026.

Previous Examinations
In the June 2025 Licensure Examination for Interior Designers (LEID), the University of San Carlos (USC) emerged as the top-performing school after posting an 83.33% passing rate, with 25 of its 30 examinees passing. The University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman ranked second with an 82.61% passing rate, as 19 of its 23 examinees successfully passed.
For the July 2024 and July 2023 LEID, no school qualified for the list of top-performing schools.
In the July 2022 LEID, the University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman was the lone top-performing school, recording a 92.86% passing rate after 26 of its 28 examinees passed.
In the June 2019 LEID, Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) – Sta. Mesa topped the list of top-performing schools with a 91.67% passing rate, as 22 of its 24 examinees passed. Mapúa University followed in second place with an 84.62% passing rate, with 11 of its 13 examinees successfully passing.
