Performance of Schools: August 2026 Mechanical Engineering Licensure Exam Results

PRC conducted the licensure exam in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga on August 7, 8, and 9, 2026.

Previous Examinations

In the February 2026 Mechanical Engineers Licensure Examination (MELE), the University of the Philippines (UP)-Diliman topped the list of top-performing schools with a 100% passing rate, as all 64 examinees successfully passed the exam. Technological University of the Philippines (TUP)-Visayas ranked second with an 88.55% passing rate, with 116 out of 131 examinees passing.

For the August 2025 MELE, Batangas State University–Alangilan emerged as the top-performing school with an 83.27% passing rate, with 204 out of 245 examinees passing. De La Salle University–Manila placed second with an 80.00% passing rate, as 60 out of 75 examinees successfully passed.

Meanwhile, in the February 2025 MELE, UP-Diliman led the top-performing schools with a 92.31% passing rate, with 48 out of 52 examinees passing. Batangas State University–Alangilan ranked second at 84.00%, with 105 out of 125 examinees successfully passing the examination.

In the August 2024 Mechanical Engineering board examination, Batangas State University–Alangilan once again topped the list with a 93.71% passing rate, as 164 out of 175 examinees passed. De La Salle University–Manila placed second with an 82.05% passing rate, with 64 out of 78 examinees successfully passing.
