MANILA, Philippines – The complete results of the August 2026 Mechanical Engineering Licensure Examination (MELE), including the list of topnotchers or top 10 passers, are released on on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, three (3) working days after the exam.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Mechanical Engineering conducted the licensure exam in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga on August 7, 8, and 9, 2026.

Previous Examinations

In the February 2026 Mechanical Engineers Licensure Examination (MELE), Jose Arnil Colina Corong Jr. of Visayas State University (VSU)-Baybay topped the board with a rating of 93.25%. John Lester Crisolo Gino of the University of Cebu placed second with 92.75%.

For the August 2025 MELE, John Kerwin Noche Enriquez of Batangas State University–Alangilan ranked first with a rating of 92.60%, followed by Marjun Bustamante Espinosa of the University of Mindanao–Davao City, who placed second with 92.30%.

Meanwhile, Nico Anthony Ferenal Tejano of the University of Cebu topped the February 2025 MELE with a rating of 93.50%. Ivan Joey Ablanido Gadot of Iloilo Science and Technology University secured second place with 92.15%.

In the August 2024 MELE, John Philip Minancillo of the University of Cebu led the examinees with a rating of 90.60%, while Carl Geoffrey del Mundo Sanchez of Batangas State University–Alangilan placed second with 90.20%.
