PRC reschedules Veterinarian board exam to September 18, 19 and 20, 2013

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) today, August 20, 2013 announced the rescheduling of the board examination for Veterinary Medicine (Veterinarian) to September 18, 19 and 20.

The PRC made the announcement after it decided to postpone the examination originally scheduled on August 20, 21 and 22, 2013 in Manila and Cagayan de Oro City.

The Board of Veterinary Medicine who signed the re-scheduling of board exam are Ma. Elizabeth D. Callanta, Chairman; Maximino M. Montenegro and Mariano LL. Jovellanos.

The PRC had earlier stated that the postponement of the board examination was made with due consideration of the safety of examinees and examination personnel particularly because of widespread flooding in Metro Manila (due to Habagat enhanced by Typhoon Maring), which rendered routes leading to the examination site at the Manuel L. Quezon University in Quiapo, Manila inaccessible and impassable.

The examination scheduled on the same day in Cagayan de Oro City was also postponed.
