MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Sanitary Engineering released results of August 2025 Sanitary Engineer Licensure Examination (SELE) on Friday, August 29, 2025, immediately after the last day of exams. The complete list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top-performing schools and performance of schools are available here as announced online.
As announced, 65 out of 125 (52%) successfully passed the August 2025 SELE.
Lara Isobel Estropia Valladolid of Mapúa University (MU)–Manila topped the board with an outstanding 85.36%.
Donne Romir Hernandez Arenal, also from MU–Manila, followed closely in second place with 84.18%.
Mapúa University (MU)–Manila emerged as the top-performing school, achieving a remarkable 94.74% passing rate, with 18 out of 19 examinees successfully passing the board exam.
PRC conducted the Sanitary Engineer Computer-based Licensure Exam (CBLE) on August 27, 28 and 29, 2025 in the National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, and Rosales.

REGISTRATION OF PASSERS
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to http://www.prc.gov.ph/ and follow instructions for initial registration.
Date of Registration: Starting October 6, 2025
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- notice of admission (for identification only)
- 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
- 2 sets of documentary stamps
- 1 piece short brown envelope
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
VERIFICATION OF RATINGS
A few working days after the release of results, Sanitary Engineer board exam takers may verify their ratings online through PRC’s Verification of Rating page. Simply provide the required information in the designated fields to confirm your identity.
COVERAGE OF EXAMS
The three-day SELE covered the following subjects:
- Day 1: Environmental Engineering and Public Health Engineering
- Day 2: Sanitary Science as Applied to Buildings and Civil Engineering
- Day 3: Wastewater Engineering and Water Supply Engineering
RELEASE OF EXAM RESULTS
As stated in PRC Resolution No. 1927 series of 2024, the target release date for the August 2025 Sanitary Engineer Licensure Examination (SELE) results is Monday, September 1, 2025—one (1) working day after the last exam.
However, given the computer-based nature of the exam (CBLE), the PRC may release the results immediately after the test, as seen in the February 2025, August 2024, and February 2024 SELE. Examinees are therefore advised to closely monitor announcements right after the last exam day on Friday, August 29.
Update (August 29, 2:00 PM): The PRC has confirmed that the SELE results will be released today.
According to the PRC: “Results will be out in a few hours! Be ready and get primed up as the August 2025 Sanitary Engineers Computer-Based Licensure Examination results will be revealed soon!”
PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS
In the February 2025 Sanitary Engineer Licensure Examination (SELE), 138 out of 195 examinees passed. Western Mindanao State University–Zamboanga City topped the schools with a 93.75% passing rate (15 out of 16).
For the August 2024 SELE, PRC released the results immediately after the last exam day. Out of 156 examinees, 105 passed. The University of Southeastern Philippines–Davao City led the schools with a 90.91% passing rate (10 out of 11).
In the February 2024 exam, results were also released on the same day. A total of 216 out of 300 examinees passed, with the University of Baguio securing the top spot at 88.89% (16 out of 18).
Meanwhile, in the August 2023 SELE, PRC released the results within two (2) working days after the exam. Out of 162 examinees, 76 passed, but no school qualified for the list of top-performing institutions.
