NLE RESULTS 2026 – The August–September 2026 Nurses Licensure Examination (NLE) results, including the full list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing schools, and performance of schools, are released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on September 18, 2026, five (5) working days after the last day of exams.

PRC administered the nursing board exam on August 29 and 30, 2026 in the cities of Metro Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Cauayan, Dumaguete (Negros Oriental), Ilocos Sur, Laguna, Lipa (Batangas), Tagbilaran (Bohol), and Urdaneta (Pangasinan).

Notice: The examination in Region III, covering the San Fernando, Pampanga and Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija Testing Centers, has been rescheduled to September 11–12, 2026. Meanwhile, the second day of the examination in NCR has been moved to September 12, 2026. The rescheduling was due to adverse weather conditions and Heavy Rainfall Warnings.

Release of PNLE Results

According to PRC Resolution No. 2113 s. 2025, the August 2026 Nurses Licensure Exam (NLE) results will be released on Friday, September 18, 2026.

However, due to the cancellation and rescheduling of the licensure examination in NCR and Region III, the release of the results may be delayed or the target release date may change.

NLE Registration

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to online.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.

Initial registrants are advised to register via the official website of PRC and follow instructions for initial registration. Here are the requirements:

  • Screenshot of system-generated Registration Form
  • valid government-issued ID

According to Section 16, of Republic Act No. 9173, “all successful candidates in the examination shall be required to take an oath of professional before the Board or any government official authorized to administer oaths prior to entering upon the nursing practice.”

Verification of Ratings

All examinees, passed or failed, may verify their rating within few working days after the results were posted.

Provide the required details such as examination name, exam date, application number, first name, last name, and birthdate.

Oathtaking Details

The PRC will announce oathtaking schedules in few days after the release of exam results, and those attending the face-to-face mass oathtaking must register by noon the day before via https://online.prc.gov.ph.

Inductees must print and bring their personalized Oath Form with a QR code for attendance tagging; those unable to attend in person can opt for an online or special oathtaking.

Following the ceremony, inductees must schedule their Initial Registration online through the same portal.

Coverage of Examinations

The August and September 2026 Nurse Licensure Exam has drawn basic knowledge, skills and attitudes in the major subject areas i.e. Fundamentals of Nursing including Professional Adjustments, Maternal and Child Nursing, Community Health and Communicable Disease Nursing, Nursing of Adolescents, adults and aged and Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing.

The examination tested competencies in relation to the 11 key areas of responsibility contained in the Competency Standards of Nursing Practice in the Philippines. These areas are categorized as follows:

1. Patient Care Competencies (safe and quality nursing care, communication, collaboration and teamwork, health education)

2. Empowering Competencies (legal responsibilities, ethico-moral spiritual responsibilities and personal and professional

development)

3. Enabling competencies (management of resources and environment and records management)

4. Enhancing competencies (research and quality improvement)

PNLE is composed of five (5) parts namely:

  • Nursing Practice I (Community Health Nursing)
  • Nursing Practice II (Care of Healthy/At Risk Mother and Child)
  • Nursing Practice III (Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alternations - Part A)
  • Nursing Practice IV (Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alternations - Part B)
  • Nursing Practice V (Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alternations - Part C)

Previous Examinations

In February 2026, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the Nurses Licensure Examination (NLE) results within five (5) working days. Of the 8,162 examinees, 3,611 passed. Alyanna Marie Ramos Villegas of Saint Paul University-Tuguegarao topped the exam with a rating of 92.00%.

For the November 2025 PNLE, results were released within fifteen (15) working days. A total of 40,692 out of 45,192 examinees passed the examination. Johannah Marie Gerardo Acevedo and George Wilson Tan Escordial of West Visayas State University–La Paz shared the top spot with a rating of 93.80%.

The May 2025 PNLE results were announced within five (5) working days. Of the 10,770 examinees, 6,935 passed. Angelica Ferrer Dator of Southern Luzon State University–Lucban ranked first with a rating of 90.00%.

Meanwhile, the November 2024 PNLE results were released within fourteen (14) working days. PRC reported that 29,349 out of 34,534 examinees passed the examination. Chariemae Nuñez Cañazares of Cebu Normal University topped the exam with a rating of 92.60%.
