MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Fisheries are expected to release results of October 2025 Fisheries Professionals Licensure Exam (FPLE) on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, three (3) working days after the last day of exam.

The October 2025 FPLE Results include the complete list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing schools and performance of schools.

PRC administered the Fisheries Professional licensure exam in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Rosales, Tacloban, and Tuguegarao on October 9 and 10, 2025.

Release of Results

Based on PRC Resolution No. 1927 series of 2024, the October 2025 Fisheries Professionals board exam results will be released on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, three (3) working days after the exams.

However, results may be released ahead or on later date without prior notice.

Registration and Oathtaking

PRC said that registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.

Date of Registration: TBA

Those who will register are required to bring the following:

  • downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • notice of admission (for identification only)
  • 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
  • 2 sets of documentary stamps
  • 1 piece short brown envelope

Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

Coverage of Examinations

The two-day Fisheries Professional exam covered the following subjects: aquaculture, capture fisheries, aquatic resources and ecology and postharvest fisheries.

Previous Examinations

In the October 2024 Fisheries Professionals Licensure Exam (FPLE), the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the results after just one (1) working day. Out of 1,509 examinees, 1,005 successfully passed the exam. The University of the Philippines – Visayas (Iloilo City) emerged as the top-performing school with an impressive 97.67% passing rate (42 out of 43 passed).

Meanwhile, in the October 2023 Licensure Examination for Fisheries Professionals, PRC announced the results after four (4) working days. Of the 2,124 examinees, 716 passed the test. No school qualified for inclusion in the list of top-performing schools that year.

Earlier examinations were conducted under the title Fisheries Technologist Licensure Exam (FTLE).
