LET RESULTS 2026 – The March 2026 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) results, including the complete list of passers, topnotchers (top 10), top performing schools, and performance of schools for Elementary and Secondary levels, are released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, thirty-nine (39) working days after the exams.
PRC announced that 63,377 out of 94,357 examinees (67.17%) successfully passed the March 2026 LET — the highest passing rate ever documented in modern times.
A total of 18,376 elementary teachers out of 32,796 examinees (56.03%) and 45,001 secondary teachers out of 61,561 examinees (73.10%) successfully passed the exams.
The results of examination with respect to fifty-eight (58) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations; and two (2) was withheld for further verification of submitted documents.
PRC administered the first regular LET this year on Sunday, March 15, 2026, in at least 40 testing centers nationwide.
Testing centers include Manila, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Tacloban, and Zamboanga, while the Commission also designated additional test centers in Antique, Bacolod, Bohol, Catanduanes, Catarman, Cauayan, Digos, Dumaguete, General Santos, Kidapawan, Laguna, Lipa, Marinduque, Masbate, Mati, Occidental Mindoro, Oroquieta, Romblon, Tagum, and Valencia to accommodate more examinees and help avoid unnecessary distant travel.
The Board for Professional Teachers consists of Dr. Rosita L. Navarro as Chairman, Dr. Paz I. Lucido as Vice Chairman, and Dr. Paraluman R. Giron, Member.

To pass the LET, an examinee must obtain an average rating of not less than 75% and must have no rating lower than 50% in any of the tests.
Release of LET Results
Update May 12, 2026 at 10:00AM: PRC has confirmed that LET results will be released today.
To quote, PRC said: "Heads up, future LPTs! Get ready as the result of the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers will be released soon! To the newest batch of future Licensed Professional Teachers, cheers and kudos to everyone!"
According to PRC Resolution No. 2113 s. 2025, the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) results will be released on May 15, 2026 (Friday), within forty (40) working days after the exams.
Please note that the release of results may occur earlier or later than the target date without prior notice. This may be affected by several factors, including the total number of examinees, possible work suspensions due to calamities or unforeseen events, and the time required to process and check the pencil-based test papers.
We advise examinees to monitor official announcements regarding the results starting Wednesday, May 6, 2026.

Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- notice of admission (for identification only)
- 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
- 2 sets of documentary stamps
- 1 piece short brown envelope
PRC said that successful examinees should PERSONALLY register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
Oath-taking
The PRC announces oathtaking schedules shortly after releasing exam results.
- Face-to-face oathtaking: Register online by 12:00 NN the day before, print the QR-coded Oath Form, and submit it during the ceremony.
- Alternative options: Attend online oathtaking (register at least 5 days before) or request a special oathtaking; announcements are posted once confirmed.
- Online oathtaking: Select “e-OATH” on PRC’s website and print the Oath of Professional form.
- After oathtaking, proceed with Initial Registration by booking an appointment online.
Coverage of Examinations
The March 2026 LET had two parts for Elementary (General Education – 40%, Professional Education – 60%) and three parts for Elementary with Specialization and Secondary (General Education – 20%, Professional Education – 40%, Specialization – 40%).
General Education covers English, Filipino, Mathematics, Science, and Social Sciences. Professional Education includes topics such as the teaching profession, principles of teaching, educational technology, curriculum development, child and adolescent development, student assessment, developmental reading, field study, and practice teaching.
Specializations include Early Childhood Education and Special Needs Education for Elementary, and for Secondary: Culture and Arts, English, Filipino, Mathematics, Physical Education, Science, Social Studies, Technology and Livelihood Education (TLEd) – Agriculture and Fishery Arts, Industrial Arts, Home Economics, ICT, and Values Education.
These new specializations, introduced through the amendment of the Teacher Professionalization Act of 1994, mark the first major overhaul of the LET in three decades, aligning the exams with modern teacher training programs and the evolving needs of the profession.
Previous Examinations
In the September and November 2025 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET), the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the results after sixty-three (63) working days. A total of 21,967 out of 43,035 examinees (51.04%) passed the Elementary Level, while 57,729 out of 79,493 examinees (72.62%) successfully passed the Secondary Level.
The results of the March 2025 LET were released after forty-one (41) working days. PRC recorded 16,282 passers out of 34,810 examinees (46.77%) in the Elementary Level, and 38,747 passers out of 62,225 examinees (62.27%) in the Secondary Level.
Meanwhile, the results of the September 2024 LET were released after fifty-one (51) working days. A total of 20,025 out of 44,002 examinees (45.51%) passed the Elementary Level, while 48,875 out of 85,926 examinees (56.88%) passed the Secondary Level.

About the Professional Teacher Profession
Elementary school teachers facilitate the foundational learning and development of pupils from Kindergarten to Grade 6, while secondary school teachers guide and strengthen the progressive learning of students from Grades 7 to 12.
As mandated by law, passing the licensure examination and obtaining a valid professional license from the Commission are required to practice the teaching profession in the Philippines. Violators may face fines and imprisonment under the penal provisions.
A four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd) program typically costs around Php 15,000 to Php 30,000 per semester, while a Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) program usually ranges from Php 20,000 to Php 40,000 per semester, depending on the school.
