MANILA, Philippines — The March 2026 Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET) results for Secondary level are released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on May 12, 2026, thirty-nine (39) working days after the exams.

As announced, 45,001 out of 61,561 (73.1%) successfully passed the March 2026 LET - Secondary Level.

It is further announced that 39,446 passers are first timers and 5,555 are repeaters.

The results of examination with respect to fifty-eight (58) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations while two (2) was withheld for further verification fo submitted documents.

PRC conducted the first regular LET this year on Sunday, March 15, 2026, in at least 40 testing centers nationwide.

Testing centers include Manila, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Tacloban, and Zamboanga, while the Commission also designated additional test centers in Antique, Bacolod, Bohol, Catanduanes, Catarman, Cauayan, Digos, Dumaguete, General Santos, Kidapawan, Laguna, Lipa, Marinduque, Masbate, Mati, Occidental Mindoro, Oroquieta, Romblon, Tagum, and Valencia to accommodate more examinees and help avoid unnecessary distant travel.

LET Passing Rate

To pass the LET, aspirant must obtain an average rating of not less than 75% and must have no rating lower than 50% in any of the tests.

Note that passing the teacher licensure exam and having valid professional license from the Commission are necessary before the practice of teaching profession in the Philippines. Otherwise, those who will violate may face fine and imprisonment based on penal provisions.

Release of LET Results

According to PRC Resolution No. 2113 s. 2025, the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) results will be released on May 15, 2026 (Friday), within forty (40) working days after the exams.

Please note that the release of results may occur earlier or later than the target date without prior notice. This may be affected by several factors, including the total number of examinees, possible work suspensions due to calamities or unforeseen events, and the time required to process and check the pencil-based test papers.

We advise examinees to monitor official announcements regarding the results starting Wednesday, May 6, 2026.

Those who will register are required to bring the following:

  • Notice of Admission (for identification only)
  • downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • two pieces passport size pictures (colored with white background and complete nametag)
  • two sets of documentary stamps
  • 1 piece short brown envelope.

PRC said that successful examinees should PERSONALLY register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

Oath-taking

The PRC announces oathtaking schedules shortly after releasing exam results.

  • Face-to-face oathtaking: Register online by 12:00 NN the day before, print the QR-coded Oath Form, and submit it during the ceremony.
  • Alternative options: Attend online oathtaking (register at least 5 days before) or request a special oathtaking; announcements are posted once confirmed.
  • Online oathtaking: Select “e-OATH” on PRC’s website and print the Oath of Professional form.
  • After oathtaking, proceed with Initial Registration by booking an appointment online.

Verification of Rating

Examinees—whether passers, non-passers, or those for removal—may verify their board exam ratings online.

To access your results, visit PRC’s “Verification of Rating” service and fill in the required information to confirm your identity. This sevice is typically available a few working days after the official release of the results.

Previous Examinations

The Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) Secondary Level has consistently recorded a strong number of passers in recent examination cycles.

In the September and November 2025 LET, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the results after sixty-three (63) working days. A total of 57,729 out of 79,493 examinees (72.62%) successfully passed the examination.

For the March 2025 LET, 38,747 out of 62,225 secondary-level examinees passed, posting a 62.27% passing rate. The results were released after forty-one (41) working days.

Meanwhile, the September 2024 LET results were released after fifty-one (51) working days, with 48,875 out of 85,926 examinees (56.88%) successfully passing the exam.
